The flexibility offered by choice of deployment - cloud, on-premise or a hybrid, means you can optimize for cost and security, according to your particular set of circumstances .

Internet bandwidth - especially in Australia when compared to North America, costs money.

If you have a large number of people in an office exchanging a lot of information - it may be lower cost to keep them within an on premise LAN. But you need to share with a percentage of staff who are mobile or dispersed. Best that they use the Cloud and the high concentration of staff in one office uses software in house - but have your systems act transparently as one, for all users.

Staff from the office, can go mobile and work remotely via the Cloud when required, without changing their familiar habits.


Systems can also be moved from In-house, to the Internet Cloud, and back again, if changing business circumstances demand - very inexpensively, because the same technology is used.

We are not sure this will be especially common, but it is available and nice to have the option. The hybrid circumstances above, we think are required very often in Australia.
